CRUISE SUMMARY

During September, 2007, members and guests aboard 34 boats engaged in a cruise at Desolation Sound, British Columbia. The cruise was chaired by Dave Heaps, PNW Cruise Captain, ably assisted by fellow Pacific Northwest Station members. The cruise officially began on the afternoon of Wednesday, September 5, with an Opening Dinner at Gorge Harbor Marina and Resort on Cortez Island. The published itinerary was as follows:

Wednesday, September 5, Opening Dinner at Gorge Harbor Marina and Resort. 1800 hours.

Thursday, September 6, Manson's Landing with swimming at Hague Lake. Clam Chowder event and Songfest at 1730.

Friday, September 7, Teakerne Arm with swimming at Cassel Lake.

Saturday, September 8, Roscoe Bay with swimming at Black Lake. Rum Barrell party hosted by Ray and Dianne Jarecki on AVANTI and Bill and Marcia Bents on VERTIGO.

Sunday, September 9, Anchor at Mink Island or Tenedos Bay. Day free with swimming at lake east of Tenedos. Closing Dinner at Mink Island vacation home of Doug and Ty Scheuman. 1800 hours
